When using Kengoria Surf Academy (hereinafter referred to as the Club), we ask for your understanding and cooperation in strictly adhering to the following items.
Article 1
The operation and management of this club (including procedures for determining whether or not to acquire or lose membership, collection of membership fees and other charges, and establishment, amendment, or abolition of membership regulations) will be carried out by Kengolia Co., Ltd.
Article 2
Those who can join the club must meet the various requirements, agree with the club's purpose, and accept these terms and conditions. In addition, those who are not prohibited from exercising by a doctor can use the club.
Those with extensive tattoos or similar, members of organized crime groups (including associate members) or those with close ties to organized crime groups, those who may be a hindrance to the smooth club life of members, and others who are deemed inappropriate by the club are not eligible to join. In addition, if any of these circumstances are discovered, even after joining, you will be asked to withdraw from the club.
Article 3
Those who wish to join the club must complete the prescribed registration procedures, obtain approval from the club, and pay the prescribed membership fees and registration costs. In addition, we may request a medical certificate from a doctor if necessary. If the person joining is a minor, they will not be able to join.
Article 4
Members must pay the admission fee set by the Club in the prescribed manner. This admission fee is a necessary cost for entering into and fulfilling the membership agreement, and once paid, it will not be refunded. (The first admission fee is free.)
Article 5
The Club prohibits its members from engaging in the following acts:
Making false statements in the membership documents.
Intentionally damaging the club's facilities or equipment.
Damaging the reputation or credibility of this club or disrupting order.
Engaging in solicitation activities for products, services, religion, multilevel marketing, etc. within the Club.
Engaging in dangerous or excessive behavior within the Club.
Providing instruction to others in exchange for compensation.
Article 6
Members must comply with the following items.
Follow the instructions of the club instructors.
Members must declare in advance their health condition, medical history, and any health issues for which they would like the club to take care.
Article 7
The Club may suspend or expel a member if it is determined that any of the following applies to the member:
1. When a member has not paid the membership fees and other charges set by the club for more than three months. (Even if a member is expelled, he/she must pay all membership fees and other charges prior to expulsion.)
2. When any of the items in the previous two articles or other rules established by the Club are violated.

3. When a member has committed misconduct that is deemed to be detrimental to the dignity of a member.
4. When you are infected with a contagious disease or other illness that may be transmitted or infect others.
5. Any other reason that the Club deems unsuitable for membership in the Club in light of accepted social standards.
Article 8
The Club encourages its members to:
You must enroll in personal injury insurance, personal liability insurance, and personal effects insurance (the Club will enroll you in each of these insurances when lessons are held).
Article 9
Members must pay the membership fees and other charges set by the Club in the manner prescribed. The type, amount, payment deadline and payment method of the membership fees and other charges will be determined by the Club. (As long as a member has membership in the Club, he/she will be obligated to pay the monthly membership fee even if he/she does not actually use the Club facilities.)
Article 10
Members can change their membership type from the following month on the reservation site by the 10th of each month. If you change your membership type after the 10th, it will be treated as the month after the following month for the purposes of the Club's administrative procedures.
Article 11
Members may cancel their membership at the earliest at the end of the month by the 10th of each month via the reservation site. If the cancellation is made after the 10th, the cancellation will be treated as the end of the following month for the purposes of the Club's administrative procedures.
Article 12
As a general rule, the Club may close for repairs to facilities, venue preparations, or other reasons of the Club. In principle, notice of closures will be given at least two weeks in advance. However, in the event of an emergency, such as when emergency construction is required for facility safety management, the Club may close some or all of the facilities without prior notice.
Article 13
The Club may close or temporarily suspend all or part of the Club for the following reasons:
1. When the weather conditions make it difficult to hold the event. When the Club's operations are hindered by typhoons or other abnormal weather, wind, flood, fire, earthquakes, accidents in the neighborhood, etc. When there is a risk of damage to the life or body of a member due to sharks, jellyfish, or other marine life. When rescue efforts are being carried out by a member or a third party.
2. When remodeling or repair work is being carried out on the facility.
3. When there are significant changes in laws, regulations, administrative guidance, social conditions, or economic circumstances.
4. When the right to use the facility is lost or other circumstances arise that affect operation of the facility.
5. Any other occasion when closure or temporary suspension is deemed necessary.
Article 14
1. Members shall use the facilities of the Club at their own risk and responsibility, in cooperation with other members.
2. The Club shall not be liable for theft, injury or other accidents that occur while a member is using the Club facilities, unless such accidents are attributable to the Club. The same applies to troubles between members inside or outside the Club.
3. Members shall not provide instruction to other users in exchange for compensation without the prior written consent of the Club.
Article 15
The Club may revise and change these Terms and Conditions, as well as the various expenses to be borne by Members under these Terms and Conditions, taking into consideration changes in social and economic conditions, etc. In this case, the Club will notify Members by email, LINE, etc. and on our website at least one month prior to the revision date.
Article 16
These terms and conditions will come into effect on July 1, 2023.
